BROVKO A. G. Memories of women as a source of study of the Revolution of Dignity

      Personal memoirs is one of the most popular types of historical sources. It have some kind of deficiency which is related to subjective opinion of author, life experience, level of conversance etc. The article, based on the analysis of memories (written and verbal) female participants of the Revolution of Dignity, examined the various aspects of life of the Maidan. Because independence is a common cause of the whole society, regardless of social status, material wealth, age and gender, for writing the article were used memories of women of different ages and different social status. Important are the memories of the students as it provides an opportunity to reflect the realities and complexity of the struggle of the students for the right choice of the Ukrainian society. Marked by persecution and control of the heads of educational institutions with Patriotic youth.

     In particular, thanks memoirs can learn more about nutrition maydanovtsev. Significant importance for the study of the revolution of Dignity have memories of women, which highlights the issues of medical support and equipment of the Maidan. In particular, failed to disclose the location of health facilities, the composition of the medical staff, availability of medicines and so on. Issues and treatment of wounded during the clashes on the Maidan. In particular, it is specified on such forms of treatment as state and private medical institutions, clinics of independence and a private house physicians. The article reveals the issues of volunteering on the Maidan. Reflects the importance of the functioning of their organizations and the importance koordinatorica work. Because, thanks to the volunteers of the Maidan was able to survive and was provided with everything necessary, starting from clothes, food, accommodation and ending with the provision of medicines.

     The analysis of the memoirs provides an opportunity to talk about the nice moments of the stay of the protesters on the Maidan. In particular, during the Christmas and new year holidays, the protesters had the opportunity to rest and culturally to have fun, watching the performances of artists, songs, carols and songs. In addition, the memories provide an opportunity to argue for an important female participation in the Revolution of Dignity. Performing different functions and the role of women, thus, played an important role in the life and defense of the Maidan. In General, the memories give the opportunity to reveal issues that to date have not found a proper lighting in historical science.
