ZVARYCH R. V. Legal proceedings of Kolomyia district court in the context of national policy of the Second Polish Republic in the twenty years of the twentieth century

                 The article attempts to investigate the features of the legal proceedings implementation in the Second Polish Republic and the place of Kolomyia District Court in that difficult for West Ukrainian lands important processes. Some aspects of the legal proceedings of Kolomyia District Court in the political processes of interwar Poland in the 1920s are clarified. The information, representing the activities of the judicial agancies of Stanyslaviv in the composition of the Second Polish Republic is used,from the documents of the State Archives of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast.

             The documents of legal proceedings of the Kolomyia District Court are analyzed. The legal principles of the judicial system of interwar Poland are determined. The reflection of incorporative vector of politics of the Second Polish Republic in the 1920s is explored. The measures, taken by the government of the Second Polish Republic to resolve the national question are shown on the examples of the Ukrainian minority as the accused persons in the legal proceedings of the Kolomyia District Court.

            Some aspects of the judicial and police repression in Stanyslaviv province in the composition of the Second Polish Republic are specified. The main attention is paid to the action of the district legal proceedings in Eastern Galicia and their place in the extermination of Ukrainians. The features of the legal proceedings of Kolomyia District Court regarding prosecutions of people on the basis of Ukrainian nationality by dissemination the postcards of the Ukrainian emigration nationality government, which called people in the West Ukraine for resistance to Polish occupying power during the conduct of population census in the 1921, anti-election activity, illegal the Second Polish Republic border crossing and by avoidance of conscription are revealed. The attitude of Ukrainians towards national (mononational) politics of the Second Polish Republic in Eastern Galicia is characterized. The problems of the invasive integration of Ukrainian lands into the Polish state in the 1920s are defined.

             The research methodology is determined by using the following methods: normative-value, logical analysis, generalization and systematization.

           It is emphasized, that in the modern conditions of the social integration it is advisable to analyze, research and use Poland’s experience to build up a highly developed democratic state taking into consideration historical, ethnic, cultural and others features of the Ukrainian nation.
