To the 60th anniversary of Oleksiy Bakalets.

     A brief biography of the famous historian-numismatist O.A. Bakalets on the occasion of his 60th birthday are reported. O.A. Bakalets is the author of more than 100 printed scientific works and textbooks on topical problems of archeology, history of Ukraine, numismatics, genealogy and local history. During the twenty years of his scientific activity, O.A. Bakalets has presented at 35 International and All-Ukrainian Conferences. Today the researcher is working on new historical and local problems.
