BAKALETS O. A. The ІV International scientific-practical conference «Bar land of Podillia: European heritage and prospects of constant development»

       The IV International Scientific-practical cross-Disciplinary conference “Bar land of Podilia: European heritage and prospects of consistent development” was held in September, 9-10, 2016 housed by Bar Town Council and Bar Humanitarian Pedagogical College to honour the 150th anniversary of M. S. Hrushevsky, the 615th anniversary of the first documentary mention of the town of Rov, the 475th anniversary of giving the Magdeburg rights to Bar.

     Among sponsors of such a representative forum were the Head of Vinnytsia Region Rada, the Head of the Organizing Committee A. D. Oliynyk, the author of the project, the candidate of historical sciences, Senior Lecturer in History, Legal Studies and Teaching Methods in Hlukhiv O.Dovzhenko NPU, the external doctoral candidate of the Department of special branches of History Science and electronic information resources of the Institute of History of the National Ukrainian Academy of Sciences, a member of National Community of local history experts O. Bakalets, Bar Town Head A.A. Tsytsiurskyi, the Head of Center of Social project development of International Society for Human Rights, a collaborator of the project M.M. Mosunov, the principal of the Center of Research of history of Podilia of the Institute of History of NAS of Ukraine of Kamianets-Podilsk National University of I. Ohiyenko, the Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor L.V. Bazhenov.

    56 participants from scientific institutions and higher establishments of Ukraine and Poland took an active part in the conference. They were historians, local history experts, fine art experts, librarians, museum curators, philosophers, political analysts, biologists, ecologists, architects, deputy corps and local self-rule representatives. Among them there were fourteen Doctors of Science, Professors, fifteen doctoral candidates and Candidates of Sciences, three Masters, two students, four museum researchers, three library researchers, twenty History teachers of colleges and secondary schools of Bar district of Vinnytsia region.

    The event was held with the support of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of regional development, building trade and Housing maintenance and utilities board of Ukraine, Center of cultural and social project development of International Society for Human Rights, the Center of  Study of History of Podilia of the Institute of History of Ukraine of National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Vinnytsia Regional Council, Oleksandr Dovzenko Hlukhiv National Pedagogical, Kyiv National University of Building and Architecture, Borys Hrinchenko Kyiv University, the Institute of History, Ethnology and Law of Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky Vinnytsia State Pedagogical University, Vinnytsia Regional Scientific Universal Library, Bar town council, Bar district state administration, Bar district council, Mykailo Hrushevskyi Bar Humanitarian Pedagogical college, Bar district library, the Polish House.
